Course Description: The course covers various topics in exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, as well as computer programs that can be used for such analyses. It will train students on how to utilize and apply these methods in different fields using well-known computer programs.

Objectives of the course :

Understanding the general idea of factor analysis, its purpose, and the difference between Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA).
Understanding Exploratory Factor Analysis and its Associated Concepts (Communality, Factor Loadings, Eigenvalues, Explained Variance, Oblique and Orthogonal Rotation, Original and Reduced Correlation Matrix, Factor Solution Quality, Bartlett's Test, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin Test, and Other Related Concepts).
Understanding Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Related Concepts (Latent Variable, Observed Variable, Covariance Structure, Various Goodness-of-Fit Indices, Nested Models, and Other Related Concepts)
