Course Description: This course provides the knowledge, skills, and attitudes associated with physiological psychology and the physiological underpinnings of cognitive processes.

Objectives of the course :

The aim is to familiarize oneself with the concept, importance, and fields of physiological psychology. To recognize the main role of the nervous system in human behavior. To differentiate between the components of the nervous system and the types and functions of neurons. To understand the physiological basis of cognitive and emotional behaviors. To identify the most prominent cognitive processes and the physiological basis of each. To become familiar with the methods and techniques used to measure cognitive processes.
