Educational Statistics for Teachers

Course Description: The course covers the concept of educational statistics, statistical methods, types of statistics, frequency distributions, data representation, types of curves, calculation of measures of central tendency, calculation of measures of dispersion, conditions for using dispersion, regression of its various types, and the calculation of the significance of differences between groups.

Objectives of the course :

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: define the concept of educational statistics and statistical methods, understand types of statistics, frequency distributions, data representation, curve types, calculate measures of central tendency, calculate measures of dispersion, understand the conditions for using dispersion, various types of regression, and calculate the significance of differences between groups.

Knowledge:
1.1 Define the concept of educational statistics, statistical methods, types of statistics, and frequency distributions.
1.2 Understand the representation of frequency data and types of curves.
1.3 Understand measures of central tendency and the relationship between measures of central tendency.
1.4 Know measures of dispersion, correlation coefficients, their conditions of use, and predict differences between means.
1.5 You know the precise procedures for describing data and the appropriate transactions for it.
1.6 Understand the methods used to process classroom output data and ways to benefit from its results.
