Introduction to Psychology

Course Description: This course covers the fundamental principles of psychology and their applications in the health sciences. It includes human behavior, mental processes, psychological development, motivation, emotions, personality, learning, perception, and communication. It also addresses the psychological aspects associated with chronic diseases and visual impairment. Furthermore, it focuses on developing communication skills with patients and understanding the psychological factors that influence health and adherence to treatment, thereby supporting the professional practice of opticians.
