Course Description: The course covers various topics in the field of personality, its different theories, determinants, and how to measure it. After completing and succeeding in this course, the student is expected to: Understand the concept of personality, its nature, components, dimensions, and research approaches. Appreciate the biological and environmental determinants of personality. Be familiar with the different personality theories that have focused on understanding the nature of human personality. Be able to evaluate different personality theories, critique each one, and identify its strengths and weaknesses.
Credit hours: 3
Objectives of the course :

Present a comprehensive study in the field of personality and its various related theories. Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to:
1. Understanding the concept of personality and its nature and components, including different dimensions and research approaches used in its study.
2. Differentiating between biological and environmental determinants of personality and how they affect personality formation.
3. Identify a variety of theories that seek to understand human nature and the factors that influence personality development.
4. The ability to evaluate different personality theories and provide constructive criticism for each, including identifying the strengths and weaknesses of each theory.
