Course Description: This course covers the basic concepts in statistics, methods of data representation, presentation, and description, measures of central tendency and dispersion, correlation coefficients, non-parametric tests, analysis of variance, the "t" test, and other important statistical methods for data interpretation and analysis.
Credit hours: 3
Objectives of the course :

Introducing the student to the basic concepts of statistics and methods for representing, presenting, and describing data.
– Introduce the student to important advanced statistical operations.
Enable the student to describe and interpret data using various statistical methods, and to interpret the fundamentals of probability.
Training the student to use computers for statistical data analysis

Understanding levels of measurement and variables and their types
Understanding Statistical Hypothesis Testing and the Concept of Significance.
Identifying measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode).
Understanding Measures of Dispersion (Range, Standard Deviation).
