Course Description: This course addresses the concept of family and marital counseling, classifications of families, theoretical trends in the psychology of family relationships, major family and marital problems, and appropriate counseling approaches.

Objectives of the course :

• The course aims to:
• Introduce students to the basic principles and concepts of the family and its historical development.
• Introduce students to family counseling theories and models. .
• Introduce students to family problems and crises, as well as methods for diagnosing and treating them.
• Familiarize students with family relationship patterns and family communication patterns in a good and effective way.
• Train students on methods for confronting and resolving family problems and crises.
