Professional and Ethical Issues in Counseling and Psychotherapy

Course Description: This course introduces professional ethics and a number of contemporary problems, issues, and variables from the perspective of counseling and psychotherapy, and crisis counseling, such as: chronic illnesses, psychological trauma, and other contemporary societal issues like value conflicts, prejudice, discrimination, and unemployment, and their psychological effects and counseling mechanisms for dealing with them.
