Course Description: Introduction to Computation and Science, Necessity of Computer and Algorithm Use, Applications of Newton's and Kepler's Laws. Numerical Linear Algebra: Systems of Linear Equations, Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors. Interpolation and Data Fitting: Polynomial Interpolation, Data Fitting, Least Squares Approximation. Differential Equations: Initial Value Problems, Euler's and Backward Euler Methods, Runge-Kutta, Driven Pendulum Chaos Dynamics, Boundary and Eigenvalue Problems, One-Dimensional Schrödinger Equation. Numerical Integration: One-Dimensional Integration, Multi-Dimensional Integration, and Runge-Kutta Methods.
