Objectives of the course :

It aims to identify how laser beams are obtained, their different properties compared to ordinary light, types of lasers, and their various applications in all fields of contemporary life.

At the end of the course, the student should be able to do the following:
Understanding the difference between ordinary light and laser light
2- Understanding the basic concept of obtaining a laser, its properties, and how to control its intensity.
3. Understanding different types and modes of lasers
4. Understanding the mutation/transformation that lasers have caused in industrial, medical, and military applications.
