Course Description: Theoretical: Physics and Measurement (units and dimensions) / Physical Quantities / Types of Motion and Newton's Laws of Motion / Study of the Properties of Matter (gaseous, liquid, solid) / Study of Atmospheric Physics. Practical: Error and Measurement, Simple Pendulum, Specific Gravity of Solid and Liquid Bodies, Estimation of Surface Tension of a Liquid, Estimation of Viscosity Coefficient of a Liquid, Verification of Boyle's Law for Gases, Verification of Hooke's Law for Elasticity, Determination of the Melting Point of Paraffin Wax, Estimation of Specific Heat of a Solid Body by Mixture Method, Identification of Meteorological Instruments (solar radiation, temperature, wind, rain, atmospheric humidity, pressure).
