Course Description: Introduction to the philosophy of legislative control and phytosanitary measures, the role of phytosanitary measures in integrated pest management, phytosanitary laws globally and in Saudi Arabia, pests and diseases controlled using phytosanitary measures, isolation gardens, sampling methods, and inspection methods.

Objectives of the course :

· Provide the student with knowledge of agricultural quarantine.
Provide the student with biosecurity regulations.
- Equip students with the skills specific to agricultural goods import practices.

Course outputs :

The student will be able to:
1- Recall some terms related to agricultural stone.
2- Recognizes some phytosanitary rules.
3- Explains the specific regulations for importing agricultural goods.
