Soil, water and plant analysis

Course Description: Practical: By the end of the course, students should be able to identify soil, water, and plant sampling methods for analysis; use a flame photometer, spectrophotometer, and atomic absorption spectrophotometer for chemical analysis; perform a complete soil analysis and write a report; perform a water analysis and assess its suitability for irrigation; and perform a plant analysis.

Objectives of the course :

Introducing students to methods of analyzing soil, water, and plants, using scientific instruments in the process of estimating elements, and interpreting analysis results to prepare reports and recommendations.

Course outputs :

Lists the elements to be estimated in soil, water, and plants.
Conduct laboratory experiments related to plant production.
