Objectives of the course :

Introduce the student to how to improve and maintain the agricultural and environmental system.
2- Identify the current status of organic agriculture globally and in Arab countries.
3. Familiarity with the transition from conventional farming to organic farming.
4. Study of agricultural practices (fertilization, biological control, and marketing) for organic products to obtain a safe product.

Course outputs :

1- Knowing and discussing topics related to open-field and protected organic farming, as well as how to improve and obtain a safe product.
2- Management and continuous development of organic farms, including how to Rielize their optimal potential.
3. The student's ability to discuss and analyze the productivity of organic farms under the different available soil types for various vegetable crops, and to develop appropriate fertilization and biopesticide programs for these crops. 4. Identifying the problems associated with organic farm production, finding ways to overcome them, and discussing the research needs to solve these problems.
