Course Description: Theory: - General introduction to the importance of seeds. The nature of flowering, pollination, fruit set, and factors affecting seed production. Seed production requirements; seed classes. Hybrid seed production; seed preparation, storage, and factors affecting viability. Seed quality testing and international standards for field crop seeds and vegetable seeds.
