Course Description: Theoretical: - General introduction to fodder plants and their importance. - Environmental conditions suitable for fodder crop production. - Important leguminous and gramineous fodder crops. - Fodder preservation methods. - Nutritional value of green fodder and factors affecting it. - Cultivation of fodder mixtures. Practical: - Introduction to agricultural operations, including land preparation before sowing, sowing methods, and operations during cultivation and harvesting. - Methods for calculating seed quantities for a specific area (hectare). - Identifying the morphological characteristics of field crops. - How to analyze fodder components and the equipment used. - Estimating the botanical composition of fodder mixtures.
