Fertilizers and fertilizing

Course Description: Theoretical: - Introduction, types of fertilizers, fertilizers and global food production, fertilizers and their environmental impact, manufacture of chemical fertilizers, manufacture of organic fertilizers. Integrated fertilization programs, fertilizer behavior in soil, methods of fertilizer application, fertilization under stress, interpretation of analysis results and fertilization recommendations. Practical: - Introduction to the descriptive analysis of fertilizers - Quantitative determination of fertilizers - Quantitative determination of organic fertilizers - Fertilizer behavior in soils - Estimation of soil fertilization needs.
