Objectives of the course :

The student recalls the fundamentals of microbiology (sterilization, culture media, methods of microbial preservation, methods of pure culture isolation, laboratory equipment).
· The student describes the structure of microorganisms (fungi, algae, bacteria, viruses, and protozoa).
The student differentiates between microorganisms (fungi, algae, bacteria, viruses, and protozoa).
The student demonstrates the ability to use a microscope to examine microorganisms.

Course outputs :

The student will be able to memorize the basics of microbiology, including sterilization, culture media, methods of preserving microbial cultures, methods of purifying microbial cultures, and the tools used in a microbiology laboratory.
