Eye Diseases (2)

Course Description: This course covers diseases of the posterior segment of the eye, including retinal diseases, the optic nerve, and the vitreous humor, as well as uveitis and ocular complications associated with systemic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. The course emphasizes early diagnosis, case management, and appropriate referral.

Prerequisites: OPTM371
Objectives of the course :

1. Recognition of posterior eye diseases.
2. Interpretation of clinical signs of ocular diseases associated with systemic diseases.
3. Apply appropriate examination techniques to evaluate the retina and optic nerve.
