Advanced Critical Care Nursing

Course Description: Advanced Critical Care Nursing is an elective nursing course that focuses on adequate knowledge of advanced concepts and principles of specialized critical care nursing. Students will also gain experience in monitoring and operating various critical care devices, providing comprehensive patient care while explaining how to best manage these devices.

Objectives of the course :

1. Interpretation of various diagnostic tests performed on critically ill patients.
Demonstrate proficiency in handling emergency situations.
3. Rehabilitation of patients recovering from a critical condition.
4. Conducting clinical research and studies in critical care nursing.
5. Developing standards for critical care nursing practice. .
6. Performing medical examinations for the patient in various intensive care unit departments.
