Course Description: This course presents the many concepts and foundations necessary to conduct scientific research in the field of nursing. The course also discusses how to prepare scientific research following a sound scientific methodology, from conceiving a research idea to reaching results, writing the research, and publishing it in various scientific sources. Furthermore, the course provides the student with the opportunity to apply these foundations and stages in preparing a research proposal, working on its study, and implementing all necessary frameworks to complete the research in an integrated group effort.

1. Definition of basic terms and concepts of scientific research. .
2. Identifying different methods for collecting data and information for scientific research. .
3. Discussion of different data collection tools. .
