Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate the ability to:
Explains the principles, scope, roles, and environments of community health nursing practice.
2. The structure, functions, and priorities of the community health system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its relationship to public health needs are analyzed.
3. Apply health promotion, disease prevention, and health education strategies to improve public health across all age groups in community settings.
4. Conducts comprehensive community and family health assessments to identify priority health needs and develop appropriate nursing interventions.
5. Nursing care plans for at-risk populations, including rural communities, are developed to promote equitable access to healthcare services.
6. Applies evidence-based community nursing interventions to assess and manage the health needs of mothers, children, adolescents, and the elderly in community settings.
7. Developing community programs such as school health, home health, and occupational health to promote safety and well-being.
8. Integrates the management of communicable and non-communicable diseases, digital health technologies, and ethical, legal, and cultural considerations into community health nursing practice in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
