Business Systems Analysis and Design (2)

Course Description: This course covers the concepts of business system analysis and design using object-oriented modeling, with a focus on the UML (Unified Modeling Language) and its various diagrams such as use case, class, sequence, and activity diagrams. The course also covers methods for system specification and design using modern methodologies, in addition to practical applications on case studies in a business environment.
Credit hours: 3
Prerequisites: MIS 364
Objectives of the course :

This course aims to enable students to understand the concepts of object-oriented modeling using UML, acquire skills in analyzing and designing business systems by building various diagrams, in addition to developing their ability to evaluate alternatives, choose appropriate designs, and work within a team to develop practical solutions.

1- It defines the fundamental concepts of the UML modeling language by studying its thirteen diagrams.
2- Explains the basics of the UML modeling language.
Applies the main concepts of the modeling language to case studies.
