Course Description: This course addresses concepts and methods of scientific research in the field of Management Information Systems, focusing on identifying and formulating research problems, building theoretical frameworks, analyzing previous studies, as well as designing research methodologies, data collection, and analysis. The course also covers skills in writing scientific reports and academic documentation and their application in preparing research in the specialization.
Credit hours: 3
Prerequisites: MIS 354
Objectives of the course :

This course aims to enable students to understand the scientific research methodology and apply it in the field of management information systems, and to acquire research preparation skills by defining the problem, formulating hypotheses, collecting and analyzing data, in addition to developing their ability to write scientific reports and present them according to academic standards and work within a team.

Knowledge and understanding:
1- Identifies the core concepts in a specialization topic related to Management Information Systems.
Explains the basic concepts in a specialization topic related to Management Information Systems.
Applies theories and practices related to one of the specialization topics relevant to management information systems.
