Course Description: Health professional education is a critical and important step for healthcare professionals, whether they are students, graduates, or faculty members. Due to the rapid expansion of biomedical and allied health knowledge, there is an urgent need to empower students to focus, fully or partially, on their various educational competencies in both the cognitive and psychomotor domains. Communication is the interaction between two or more people, where they convey ideas, feelings, and messages. During their university studies and academic careers, it is difficult, if not impossible, for students to achieve common goals unless they can share their ideas, opinions, and information with others in a way that leads to mutual understanding. Effective communication in the workplace is vital for the student, their colleagues, and their instructors. This course is designed to help students improve their learning effectiveness, develop their attitudes, enhance their motivation, and develop the communication skills they will need in their studies and future healthcare practice. This course aims to empower students to understand and recognize the language of health education.
