Course Description: This course is a continuation of the first engineering design project course (HMEC 491) and lasts for one semester. Students, working in teams under the supervision of one or more faculty members, will be assigned an applied project that simulates the real work environment they will encounter after graduation. The project must be comprehensive, including all necessary preliminary studies, final design drawings, bills of quantities, and the total project cost.

Prerequisites: ME 491
Objectives of the course :

1- Providing the student with the opportunity to benefit from different course topics and connecting various concepts to solve a specific engineering problem.
2. Enhance the student's practical application ability by implementing the designed product or item.
3- Developing the student's expertise in evaluation and criticism.
4. Enhance the student's ability to work in a team, learn independently, search for information from various available sources, and acquire data collection skills.
Empowering the student to express themselves clearly, highlighting their abilities and skills.
6. Supporting students' communication skills through preparing reports and presenting seminars and scientific presentations.
7- Training students to present their ideas and achievements and justify them scientifically.
