Course Description: Thermodynamics of moist air; psychrometric chart construction; psychrometric processes; psychrometric systems; industrial processes; air conditioning systems; duct design and air distribution methods; cooling towers; conducting experiments using air conditioning equipment and applying air conditioning systems through a practical project.

Prerequisites: ME 395
Objectives of the course :

Introduce students to the properties of moist air.
Provide students with the fundamental principles of the psychrometric chart and its associated processes.
Provide students with the basic principles necessary to understand air conditioning systems.
Provide students with the fundamentals of industrial operations.
5. Introduce students to different duct design methods and air distribution techniques.
