Course Description: Introduction to heat transfer; modes of heat transfer; steady-state heat conduction; natural and forced convection for external and internal flows; heat exchangers; properties and processes of thermal radiation, and radiation exchange between surfaces.
Credit hours: 3
Prerequisites: ME 385
Objectives of the course :

The course aims to provide mechanical engineering students with the fundamental concepts and practical applications of heat transfer, through:
1- Understanding the principles of thermal conduction, convection, and radiation
2- Applying these principles to the analysis and design of engineering systems
