Toxicology

Course Description: The course covers the general principles of toxicology, clinical and forensic toxicology, mechanisms of poisoning, and exposure to chemicals, drugs, pesticides, heavy metals, alcohol, and narcotics. It also addresses the prevention, diagnosis, and management of poisoning cases.

Objectives of the course :

Introduce students to the basic concepts of toxicology.
2. Explanation of the mechanisms and effects of different toxic substances.
Developing skills for managing and laboratory diagnosis of poisoning cases.
