وصف المقرر : يتناول المقرر الطفيليات الطبية المسببة للأمراض البشرية من الأوليات والديدان، مع دراسة أشكالها المورفولوجية ودورات حياتها وطرق انتقالها وإمراضها وتشخيصها المخبري وعلاجها وسبل الوقاية منها، إضافة إلى التدريب العملي على التعرف على الطفيليات في العينات السريرية المختلفة.

Objectives of the course :

1. تعريف الطلاب بأنواع الطفيليات والعلاقة بين الطفيل والعائل.
2. دراسة المظاهر المورفولوجية ودورات الحياة وطرق انتقال الطفيليات الممرضة.
3. تنمية مهارات جمع العينات وتشخيص الطفيليات باستخدام التقنيات المخبرية المختلفة.

Course outputs :

• يصف الخصائص المورفولوجية ودورات الحياة للطفيليات الطبية المهمة.
• يطبق تقنيات جمع العينات وتحضيرها وفحصها مجهرياً لتشخيص الطفيليات.
• يفسر نتائج الفحوصات الطفيلية ويضع التشخيص التفريقي المناسب.
يلتزم بإجراءات السلامة وضبط الجودة في مختبر الطفيليات الطبية.
