Medical Biochemistry

Course Description: This course covers medical biochemistry from a molecular perspective, focusing on the pathways and regulation of carbohydrate, lipid, protein, and nucleic acid metabolism. It examines their roles in cellular, tissue, and organ functions, as well as metabolic changes associated with diseases and their laboratory assessment.

Objectives of the course :

1. Understand the main metabolic pathways and their regulatory mechanisms in the human body.
2. Clarify the relationship between metabolic disorders and common diseases such as diabetes, atherosclerosis, and obesity.
Developing practical skills in performing and analyzing laboratory biochemical tests.
