Maritime and Air Law in the Saudi Comparative System

Course Description: The course covers the legal rules of maritime and air navigation, its persons, related contracts, and arising accidents, according to Saudi regulations, international treaties, and comparative regulations.
Credits: 2
Objectives of the course :

The objective of this course is to provide the student with knowledge of the general principles of maritime and air law, the provisions of navigation, exploitation, and transport, related casualties and accidents, and relevant insurance contracts.

Course outputs :

Knowledge and understanding:
1- To know the basic concepts of maritime and air law, and maritime and air navigation.
2. To know the rules governing the ship and maritime personnel.
Skills:
1- To explain the legal rules governing the aircraft and its flight crew
2. To deduce the rights of the ship's crew through an electronic survey.
3. To distinguish between air transport contracts and air insurance contracts.
