This course aims to introduce the student to international criminal law, its substantive and procedural aspects, and to familiarize them with the efforts of international bodies in forming and developing the rules of international criminal law and combating crimes that violate international peace and security.
Knowledge and understanding:
1- Knows the concepts and subjects of international criminal law.
2. Identifies the categories of responsible parties and the accountability mechanisms under international criminal law.
Skills:
To distinguish between international crimes according to the elements of each crime.
2. To determine the mechanisms for applying international rules to international criminal cases.

1- Using modern technological means, such as presentations, to present topics related to the course.

Introduction to International Criminal Law and the relationship between international criminal law, domestic criminal law and international penal law, the binding nature of international criminal law rules, global efforts following the establishment of international criminal law, the 1991 International Law Commission draft for the codification of crimes against peace and security of mankind, international criminal offenses in the draft.
Definition of International Crime, Elements of International Crime.

International Criminal Responsibility (for individuals and states) and the historical development of its origins, types of international responsibility.
The system of extradition, forms of criminalization and punishment in international criminal law.
