Course Description: The course examines ta'zir offenses in terms of their elements and punishments, with an analysis of some of their applications in the Saudi penal system, in light of Islamic Sharia provisions and relevant regulations, and using a comparative approach within the scope of study. .

Objectives of the course :

The objective of this course is to introduce students to and familiarize them with the provisions related to ta'zir crimes, including defining their elements and outlining their penalties. It will include an in-depth analytical study of some of these crimes. The aim is to academically refine students and equip them with the ability to analyze the methodology of the Saudi penal legislator in criminalizing and punishing, in accordance with Islamic Sharia and the regulations issued in this regard in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the Penal Transactions Law. A comparative approach will be used, examining existing legal practices in other systems, within the allocated time frame.
