The aim of this course is to provide the student with a comprehensive understanding of alternative dispute resolution methods, including their substantive and procedural rules, in accordance with the regulations issued in this regard in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and within the allocated timeframe.
Knowledge and understanding:
1- To know the systemic and legal terminology and concepts related to alternative dispute resolution methods.
2. To clarify dispute resolution methods and how judgments and enforceable instruments are executed.
3. To describe the fundamental principles and theories of systems.
Skills:
1- To compare free and institutional alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods.
2. To apply the regulatory rules in selecting alternative dispute resolution methods.
Values, autonomy and responsibility:
1- To take responsibility in individual and group work when forming the arbitration committee and distributing roles.
2. To be embodied in good morals, self-confidence, understanding others, and adhering to the values of loyalty and belonging to the homeland and its leadership.

General introduction and student orientation to the course (nature, objectives, requirements). Origin and development of alternative dispute resolution methods (negotiation, mediation, conciliation, facilitation, and arbitration). Their concepts and the types of environments in which they occur.
