Course Description: This course aims to familiarize students with the provisions of international humanitarian law, its various sources, branches, and tribunals.
Credits: 2
Prerequisites: LAW 241
Objectives of the course :

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
A. Familiarity with the provisions related to International Humanitarian Law: its definition, history, concept, and sources.
b. Developing a student's jurisprudential consciousness so that they are capable of understanding the jurisprudential and legal opinion upon which to act in matters of international humanitarian law.
c. Familiarity with the sources and persons of international humanitarian law, within the allocated time.
d. The student will be able to distinguish between different types of international courts and explain their functioning within the field of international humanitarian law.
