Course Description: This course introduces the environment, methods of its preservation, and types of pollution.
Credits: 2
Prerequisites: LAW 101
Objectives of the course :

The objective of this course is to introduce the student to the environment and ways to protect it from pollution, types of pollution, their causes, and resulting damages, as well as systematic approaches to confront pollution and protect the environment. This will be in accordance with the regulations issued in this regard in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, comparative national legislation, and relevant international agreements, within the time allocated to define environmental protection mechanisms.

1- To know the terminology and concepts related to the environment and its elements.
2. To describe the principles and theories related to environmental damage and the mechanisms for its protection internationally and locally.

Analyze systemic issues related to environmental protection.
