Drafting and analyzing legal texts

Course Description: The student will learn the fundamentals of drafting contracts, agreements, and regulations. They will analyze legal texts and develop the ability to form independent opinions on legal matters through text analysis and the writing of legal memos.

Prerequisites: LAW 101
Objectives of the course :

This course aims to develop the student's ability for self-learning and building sound logic in legal thinking and argumentation supported by legal references, through training and preparing them to draft, formulate, and critique texts, agreements, and regulations, and to clarify the fundamental principles in drafting and analyzing national and comparative legislation.

1- Understand the concept of legal drafting and its types.
2. To identify the fundamental principles in the drafting and analysis of national and comparative legislation.
3. To distinguish between legal drafting styles.
