Course Description: The course covers several important topics: Maritime Law includes: The Ship, Maritime Navigation Personnel, Maritime Contracts, Maritime Accidents. Air Law includes: The Aircraft, Air Navigation Personnel, International Air Carriage Contracts, Insurance Contracts.

Objectives of the course :

The study of maritime law aims to familiarize the student with the general rules of maritime law, the elements of maritime navigation and their provisions, the maritime exploitation of a ship, general maritime average, and marine insurance contracts. The study of air law aims to familiarize the student with the legal regime of aircraft, air transport, air navigation incidents, and air insurance.

1- To know the terms and concepts of maritime law, aviation law, and maritime and air navigation.
2- To describe the principles and theories governing ships and maritime and air navigation personnel.
