Administrative system

Course Outline: This course covers administrative decisions, administrative organization, administrative activity, and the system of municipalities and villages, as well as the system of regional emirates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It also includes an understanding of the provisions of public employment.
Credit hours: 3
Prerequisites: LAW 101
Objectives of the course :

The student will be introduced to the organization of public administration, its activities, its means, and its privileges aimed at achieving the public good. It also aims to familiarize them with the application of these administrative concepts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and compare them with applications in other countries.

Knowledge and understanding:
1- To know the characteristics and sources of administrative law and its relationship with other laws.
2. To identify the difference between administrative centralization and administrative decentralization.
3. To clarify the nature of administrative activity and the types of controls on administrative actions.
Skills:
To explain the rules and regulations governing Saudi public administration.
2. To analyze the system of municipalities and villages in the Kingdom, as well as the system of regions.
3. To deduce the rules for terminating administrative contracts and the mechanism for resolving disputes related to administrative contracts.
