Political Systems and Governance in the Kingdom

Course Description: The course covers the general principles of constitutional law and the general theory of constitutions, studies the constitutionality of laws, and explains the basic systems in the Kingdom.
Credit hours: 3
Objectives of the course :

Introducing students to the prevailing political systems in countries around the world by defining the state, its origins, its elements, and its forms, as well as the prevalent forms of governance in countries worldwide. It also aims to introduce students to the system of governance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in terms of its origins, outlining its stages of development, while explaining the prevailing systems of governance in countries worldwide and the Islamic system of governance.

Knowledge and understanding:
1- That constitutional law and constitutional terminology are known.
To clarify the general principles of constitutional law and the general theory of constitutions.
3. To identify the pillars on which the state rests.
