The aim of this course is to give the student a general understanding of legal systems through the study of the theories of law and rights. This course is considered the foundation for studying legal systems as an introduction to the study of legal sciences.
Knowledge and understanding:
1- To know the terminology and concepts related to legal theory and rights theory.
2. To know the fundamental principles and theories governing the origin of legal rules, their types, and scope of application, as well as the types of rights, their subject matter, persons, and sources.
3. To describe the systematic texts related to the theory of rights and the theory of obligations.
Skills:
1- To compare the theory of rights and the theory of obligations.
To explain the foundations of legal theory and similar legal rules.
