Course Description: This course studies contemporary European history through an examination of the political and economic events that influenced European nations, such as the unification of Italy and Germany, World War I and II, and the role of international organizations in reducing European wars and conflicts.

Prerequisites: HIST382
Objectives of the course :

Understanding the key aspects of modern European history, Italian and German unification, the Industrial Revolution, totalitarian movements, the causes of World War I and World War II, and their impact on the world. Students will develop the ability to analyze, discuss, engage in dialogue, make connections, compare, draw conclusions, and organize the topics they study.
