Course Description: This course addresses prominent contemporary Arab issues such as the Palestinian cause, the rise of the Zionist movement, the Palestinian resistance, the Kashmir issue, the Darfur region in Sudan, Muslims in the Philippines and Chechnya, and ethnic issues like the Amazigh and the Kurds.
