Course Description: This course examines modern European history by studying the political, economic, and religious changes that occurred in European countries during their modern period.

Objectives of the course :

The student will learn about the beginning of modern European history, the European Renaissance and the role of Muslims in it, the Age of Discovery, and the Protestant Reformation, as well as the ideas of the French Revolution and its most prominent events. The student will develop skills in discussion, comparison, sequencing, analysis, conclusion, and linking causes to effects in the context of European historical development.
