Course Description: This course deals with the study of Islamic states that emerged in the Islamic East and became independent of the Abbasid Caliphate. It focuses on their origins, establishment conditions, most important emirs and sultans, and their relations with neighboring political powers. It also presents the most important civilizational aspects of these states.

Understanding the history of Islamic states that emerged in the Islamic East and represented independent entities from the Abbasid Caliphate, while acquiring skills in analysis, comparison, connection, inference, and ordering.
