Course Description: This course addresses the governance, ethics, and regulatory frameworks governing the use of digital health technologies and health information management, with a focus on protecting patient records and the privacy and security of health data. It reviews the principles of confidentiality and privacy, the personal data protection system, the regulations of the Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority and the National Data Management Office, and health data governance standards in the Saudi health sector.
