Course Description: The thesis course represents the main research course in the PhD program and aims to enable the student to complete original scientific research in one of the topics of geography or environmental studies under specialized academic supervision. Through this course, the student goes through the stages of identifying the research problem, building the theoretical framework, choosing appropriate methodologies and tools, collecting and analyzing data, and then discussing the results and formulating conclusions and recommendations in an integrated scientific thesis. The course aims to produce new knowledge of scientific and societal value, while adhering to the ethics of scientific research and the ability to present, discuss, and defend the scientific work objectively and professionally.

  • Achieving an original doctoral dissertation that contributes to enriching knowledge in the field of Geography and Environmental Studies.
  • Employing modern curricula, tools, and techniques to conduct advanced scientific research.
