Biological Ecosystems

Course Description: Through this course, the student will become familiar with the main concepts and components of ecosystems, ecology, and biomes. The second part of the course focuses on biogeographical determinants, most importantly identifying the components of the biosphere (soil, vegetation cover, and living organisms) and their interrelationships. The student will also learn about the risks facing ecosystems and biomes and how to address them.
Credit hours: 3
Objectives of the course :

The main objective of the course is to introduce the most important components of ecosystems and biology, and to familiarize students with contemporary environmental challenges, how to detect them, and the development in the field of their spatial treatments.
