Course Description: Introduce students to Geographic Information Systems (GIS), its concepts, importance, and evolution. Enable them to create spatial databases, and familiarize them with methods of collecting, processing, analyzing, and interpreting spatial data, along with its digitalization using computers to solve geographical problems. Enable students to produce GIS outputs through practical applications in GIS.
